Rebecca Kemper Poos – Pastor
Rev. Rebecca K. Poos began her ministry with us in March, 2009, after having served churches of all shapes and sizes in Vancouver BC and Colorado. She moved to Buena Vista with her husband Clarke and son Rocky (now in his twenties). They enjoy a number of hobbies and passions, all focused on being outdoors. They love nothing more than being in the mountains hiking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, kayaking, exploring Colorado history, and riding bicycles or horses.
Rebecca loves ministry of all kinds. She enjoys encouraging people and churches on their spiritual journey, and has a passion for music and inspiring worship, along with community involvement, and caring for one another in God’s name. She invites you to join in our mission to live out Jesus’ commandments to love our neighbor, ourselves, and to feed, clothe and care for all of creation.

Robin Hall – Office Communications Administrator (a/k/a part time Church Secretary)
Robin is semi-retired and works part time to help coordinate building use requests, weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters and other activities as needed. She recently returned to Buena Vista after serving as the office manager at the National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum in Leadville. She is interested in history (local and global), enjoys writing and loves living in the Arkansas River Valley.

Judy Phelps – CUCC Pianist
Judy moved to Colorado ( from Elgin, Illinois ) with her family in 2005 to their dream home in Gametrail. After retiring from teaching, she stayed involved in the community accompanying, offering private music lessons, academic tutoring and various rec dept programs including the BV Voices Children’s Choir and Supersitter babysitter trainings. Ben Beasley – CUCC Custodian
Ben Beasley is a local actor and singer in the Buena vista area. Ben enjoys being active in the vibrant and gracious community that inhabits the Arkansas valley. You can find Ben on the trail, in the gym, or flipping Burgers at the Buena Viking!
